Jerk Chicken - Jamaican

Jerk Chicken

  • 3 lbs chicken pieces

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 1/4 cup lime juice

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

  • 1/2 cup orange juice

  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions

  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro

  • Salt, to taste


  1. In a large bowl, combine the Jamaican spice blend, soy sauce, lime juice, vegetable oil, orange juice, green onions, and cilantro.

  2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.

  3. Preheat your grill to medium heat. Remove chicken from the marinade

  4. Grill for 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, until chicken is cooked through.

  5. Serve with rice, beans, or your favorite side dish
