Bama Blush Brisket

Ingredients:

5 lbs beef brisket

1/3 cup Bama Blush Brisket Spice Blend

Your choice of wood chips for smoking (oak, hickory, or mesquite are popular choices)

Instructions:

Rub the brisket generously on all sides with the Bama Blush Brisket Spice Blend.

Allow the brisket to sit for at least 4 hours or overnight in the refrigerator for flavors to penetrate.

Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).

Smoke the brisket, fat side up, for about 6-8 hours or until it reaches an internal temperature of 190°F (88°C).

Remove from the smoker and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Slice against the grain and serve with your favorite BBQ sauce.

 

Bama Blush Roasted Potatoes

Ingredients:

4 cups diced potatoes (such as Russet or Yukon Gold)

1 tablespoons Bama Blush Brisket Spice Blend

2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

In a large bowl, toss potatoes with olive oil and Bama Blush Brisket Spice Blend.

Spread the potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Roast for 25-30 minutes, stirring once or twice, until golden brown and crispy.

Serve hot.

 

Bama Blush Steak

Ingredients:

4 beef steaks (such as ribeye or sirloin)

1 tablespoons Bama Blush Brisket Spice Blend

2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter

Instructions:

Rub each steak with a tablespoon of Bama Blush Brisket Spice Blend.

Let the steaks sit for at least 30 minutes to an hour to absorb the flavors.

Preheat the grill or skillet to high heat.

Brush steaks with olive oil or melted butter.

Grill or sear steaks for about 4-6 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.

Let steaks rest for a few minutes before serving.

 

Bama Blush BBQ Sauce

Ingredients:

1 cup ketchup

1/2 cup beef broth

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoons Bama Blush Brisket Spice Blend

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon molasses

1 teaspoon liquid smoke (optional)

Instructions:

In a saucepan, combine all ingredients.

Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat.

Reduce heat to low and let it simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Once thickened, remove from heat and let cool.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Use as a sauce for brisket, ribs, or any grilled meats.

 

Bama Blush Spiced Mayo

Ingredients:

1 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoons Bama Blush Brisket Spice Blend

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Instructions:

In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise, Bama Blush Brisket Spice Blend, and lemon juice until smooth.

Refrigerate for at least an hour to let the flavors meld.

Serve as a spread for sandwiches, and burgers, or as a dip for fries and veggies.

 

Bama Blush Butter for Steaks

Ingredients:

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 tablespoons Bama Blush Brisket Spice Blend

1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives

Instructions:

Combine the softened butter, Bama Blush Brisket Spice Blend, and fresh chives in a bowl.

Spread a piece of plastic wrap or parchment paper on the counter. Place the butter mixture onto it and shape into a log.

Roll up the butter inside the wrap, twisting the ends to seal.

Refrigerate until firm. Slice and place atop grilled steaks, roasted vegetables, or warm bread.
