Big Sky Fry - Steakhouse Fry Seasoning
The great American steak fry deserved better than plain salt, so we built it a blend worthy of the plate.
Big Sky Fry is our steakhouse-in-a-shaker: sea salt and slow-cooked garlic and onion for that diner-counter savor, sweet and smoked paprika for warmth and color, and a savory umami backbone of mushroom and tomato that makes a thick-cut fry taste like the best thing on the table. A whisper of vinegar brightens it the way a splash of malt vinegar brightens a fry basket, and just a breath of cayenne keeps it interesting without bringing real heat. It bakes golden, clings to every craggy edge, and disappears fast.
Most fry seasonings are a bright yellow salt and not much else. This one has depth, the kind you taste and can’t quite name, built from real ingredients with no added MSG. Like everything from the Spicekeeper’s shelf, it’s gluten-free, non-GMO, and blended in small batches.
Born for steak fries.
Incredible on everything else.
Shake it on hot fries straight from the oil or oven, toss it on roast potatoes and wedges, hit your burgers and smash patties with it, or send it over popcorn, eggs, and roasted vegetables. It earns its place on the counter, not the back of the drawer.
How to use it: About 1 to 1½ teaspoons per pound of fries. For the best cling, season the moment they come out of the oil or oven, while they’re still glistening. Roasting from raw? Toss the potatoes in a little oil first, then the seasoning, and roast at a moderate heat so the paprika and garlic gild rather than scorch.
Ingredients: Sea salt, garlic, paprika, onion, black pepper, mushroom powder, tomato powder, brown sugar, smoked paprika, celery seed, turmeric, vinegar powder, cayenne pepper.
Gluten-free. Non-GMO. No MSG. Small-batch.

Why It Works
Smoked paprika and chili powder create deep campfire flavor, while garlic, mustard, thyme, and parsley round everything out with savory balance. Cowboy Crunch was designed to bloom beautifully in butter, bacon fat, or oil, making it especially powerful in skillet cooking.
Spicekeeper Tip
Try blooming Cowboy Crunch in warm butter before tossing with roasted potatoes or brushing onto grilled chicken. The smoke and herbs become richer and more layered.
