Victoria's Bakehouse Blend
A baker's pantry in bloom.
Inspired by English bakehouse traditions and one very talented pastry chef.
Victoria's Bakehouse Blend was created in honor of my daughter Victoria, whose passion for pastry reflects generations of English baking traditions. From warm scones shared at tea time to elegant pastries cooling on a rack beside the kitchen window, this blend celebrates the simple joy of creating something beautiful from a handful of ingredients.
Cardamom, lavender, rose, vanilla, and lemon come together in a blend that feels warm, fragrant, and quietly elegant.
It was designed for bakers who love floral flavors but want balance rather than perfume. Every ingredient has a purpose. The cardamom provides warmth and structure. The lavender and rose add gentle fragrance. Vanilla softens the edges while lemon brightens the entire blend.
The result is a seasoning that feels equally at home in a Victorian tea room, a modern bakehouse, or a family kitchen on a Sunday morning.

Why It Works
Cardamom serves as the foundation of the blend, providing warmth and a bright citrus character that carries the other ingredients. Lavender and rose contribute fragrance without overpowering the palate. Vanilla creates softness and roundness while lemon lifts the entire blend and keeps it feeling fresh.
The result is balanced floral warmth that enhances baked goods without becoming heavy, overly sweet, or perfume-like.
Bloom Recommendation
Gentle Bloom • Butter, Cream, Custard, or Milk
Victoria's Bakehouse Blend shines when gently bloomed in warm butter, cream, milk, or custard. This allows the aromatic oils in the cardamom, lavender, rose, vanilla, and lemon to fully open, creating a richer and more rounded flavor throughout baked goods and desserts.
Spicekeeper Tip
Stir a small pinch into whipped cream, softened butter, cream cheese frosting, or warm honey. It transforms simple desserts into something worthy of an old English bakehouse.
