Banana Bread with Pumpkin Love Seasoning

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1 tablespoon Pumpkin Love seasoning

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2-3 bananas)

  • 1/2 cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt

  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

  1. Mix the Dry Ingredients:

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and Pumpkin Love seasoning. Set aside.

  1. Cream the Butter and Sugar:

  • In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.

  1. Add the Wet Ingredients:

  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

  • Add the mashed bananas and sour cream (or Greek yogurt) to the mixture and blend until well combined.

  1. Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:

  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.

  • Fold in the chopped nuts if using.

  1. Bake the Bread:

  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly.

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  1. Cool and Serve:

  • Allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

  • Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.
