Bavarian Beer Brats
6 Bratwurst sausages
1 large Onion, sliced
2 cloves Garlic, minced
2 cups German Beer
1 tablespoon No. 31 Kleindeutsch Bavaria spice blend
6 Brat Buns
Sauerkraut, mustard, and other desired toppings
In a large pot, combine the bratwurst, onion, garlic, beer, and Kleindeutsch Bavaria spice blend.
Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the bratwurst are cooked through.
Preheat your grill or grill pan. Remove the bratwurst from the pot and grill for a few minutes on each side, until nicely browned.
Toast the buns on the grill, then serve the bratwurst on the buns with sauerkraut, mustard, and other toppings.
