1 lb ground beef
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
2 tsp Istanbul spice blend
Salt to taste
Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, parsley, mint, Istanbul spice blend, and salt. Mix well and form into small patties or oblong shapes.
Grill kofta for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Serve with pita bread, tzatziki sauce, and sliced vegetables.
