Sweet, spiced, and perfectly golden — a quick pastry treat that’s as beautiful as it is delicious.
Servings: 4 rollsPrep Time: 10 minutesCook Time: 30 minutesTotal Time: 40 minutes
Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed but still cold
4 teaspoons Oak City Spice Blends Chai Pie Wallah seasoning (about 1 teaspoon per roll)
4 tablespoons brown sugar (about 1 tablespoon per roll)
Instructions
Preheat Oven – Set oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cut Pastry – On a lightly floured surface, cut the puff pastry sheet into 1-inch-wide strips.
Add Spice & Sugar – Sprinkle each strip evenly with Chai Pie Wallah seasoning, then sprinkle brown sugar on top.
Roll – Gently roll each strip into a spiral, tucking the end underneath to hold its shape.
Arrange & Bake – Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them. Bake for about 30 minutes, or until puffed and deep golden brown.
Cool & Serve – Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
Tips
For extra shine, brush the tops with a beaten egg before baking.
Serve with a drizzle of honey or a dusting of powdered sugar for a bakery-style finish.
These are best eaten the day they’re made but can be reheated at 300°F for 5 minutes.
