Creamy Wild Garlek Chicken Skillet

Featuring Oak City Spice Blends’ Wild Garlek Seasoning
Ingredients (Serves 2–3)
2 chicken breasts
1 tsp Wild Garlek Seasoning (plus extra to taste)
½ cup all-purpose flour
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
2 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp olive oil
½ cup shredded carrots
2 scallions, diced
1 cup chicken broth
½ cup heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Prepare Chicken
In a shallow dish, combine flour, salt, and pepper.
Lightly dredge chicken breasts in flour mixture, shaking off excess.
Sear Chicken
Heat butter and olive oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat.
Add ½ tsp Wild Garlek Seasoning and stir into the fat to bloom the flavors.
Place chicken in the pan and brown on both sides until golden (about 3–4 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.
Vegetables & Sauce Base
In the same pan, add shredded carrots and diced scallions. Cook for 2–3 minutes until softened.
Pour in chicken broth and simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the pan. Reduce by about half.
Creamy Finish
Stir in cream and Parmesan cheese, along with another pinch of Wild Garlek Seasoning.
Return chicken breasts to the pan, coating them in the sauce.
Simmer gently until chicken is cooked through (internal temp 165°F / 74°C).
Serve
Spoon sauce and vegetables over chicken. Serve hot with rice, noodles, or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
