Elevated Wilde Garlek Quinoa

If quinoa ever had its own competitive league (like baseball but with more protein and fewer peanuts), I’d be a champion. 🏆 The only problem? I’ve never heard of a quinoa cook-off anywhere in America.

Which, frankly, feels like a missed opportunity.

So until the Quinoa Olympics are established, I’ll just share my winning entry right here.

Its tasty, it’s fluffy, and it’s powered up with my Oak City Spice Blends’ Wilde Garlek seasoning. Consider this the quinoa dish that could actually make your friends say, “Wow, I like quinoa now.”

Now grab a fork—you’re about to taste Victory!

Elevated Wilde Garlek Quinoa

A simple but flavorful side dish featuring Oak City Spice Blends’ Wilde Garlek.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • ½ cup quinoa, rinsed

  • 1 tablespoon Wilde Garlek seasoning (Oak City Spice Blends)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, bring the chicken broth to a gentle boil.

  2. Stir in the quinoa and Wilde Garlek seasoning.

  3. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the quinoa has absorbed all the liquid.

  4. Remove from heat and let sit covered for 5 minutes.

  5. Fluff with a fork and serve warm.

Notes & Serving Ideas

  • Serve as a base for grilled chicken, roasted vegetables, or fish.

  • Add a drizzle of olive oil or a squeeze of lemon for extra brightness.

  • For a vegetarian option, swap the chicken broth with vegetable broth.
