Patatas Bravas - Firecracker

Patatas Bravas


  • 2 large White Potatoes, peeled and cut into small cubes

  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil

  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 teaspoon No. 44 Firecracker Spice Blend

  • Salt and pepper

  • Vegetable oil for frying


  • Boil the potatoes in a pot of salted water for 5-7 minutes, or until tender but not falling apart.

  • Drain the potatoes and pat dry with paper towels.

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  • Add the garlic, and No. 44 Firecracker Spice Blend to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.

  • Add the potatoes to the skillet and coat with the spice mixture.

  • Season the potatoes with salt and pepper to taste.

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F.

  • Fry the potato cubes in small batches for about 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

  • Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

  • Serve with aioli or your favorite hot dipping sauce.
