Quinoa Breakfast Bowl

  • 1 cup quinoa

  • 2 cups water

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans)

  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries, raspberries, raisins, or any fruit you like.

  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

  • 1 cup milk or yogurt (for serving)

  1. In a saucepan, combine quinoa, water, Poudre Fine spice blend, and salt. Bring to a boil.

  2. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes, or until quinoa is tender and water is absorbed.

  3. Fluff quinoa with a fork and let it cool slightly.

  4. Stir in nuts, fruit, and honey or maple syrup.

  5. Serve warm or cold, topped with milk or yogurt.
