  • 2 tbsp "1920s Social Hour Spice Blend"

  • 1 tbsp cracked black pepper

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 1/4 cup cognac or brandy

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  1. Prep Steaks: Pat the steaks dry and coat each side with the "1920s Social Hour Spice Blend" and cracked black pepper.

  2. Cook Steaks: In a skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook to your desired level of doneness.

  3. Make Sauce: Remove steaks and keep warm. Add cognac to the pan, and scrape up any browned bits. Reduce by half, then add cream and reduce until thickened.

  4. Serve: Spoon sauce over steaks and serve immediately.
