Fire Balls - Chicken and Turkey Meatballs with Umami Fire Seasoning

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground chicken

  • 1 pound ground turkey

  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 large egg

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 tablespoons Umami Fire seasoning

  • Cooking spray or a light coating of olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Meatball Mixture:

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, ground turkey, panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, chopped onion, fresh parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.

  1. Form the Meatballs:

  • Using your hands or a small ice cream scoop, form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.

  1. Roll in Umami Fire Seasoning:

  • Place the Umami Fire seasoning in a shallow dish. Roll each meatball lightly in the seasoning, ensuring they are evenly coated.

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer:

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.

  1. Cook the Meatballs:

  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or a light coating of olive oil to prevent sticking.

  • Place the meatballs in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching each other. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.

  • Cook the meatballs for 12-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through, turning them halfway through the cooking time for even browning.

  1. Serve:

  • Serve the Umami Fire meatballs hot with your favorite dipping sauce or as part of a meal. They pair well with rice, noodles, or a fresh salad.
